Alarm System

The house has 2 separate alarm systems :

 

House Alarm

 

When you leave the house [ even if it is only for 5 minutes ], ALWAYS turn on the alarm as it protects your belongings and ours !

 

Alarm code is send by email after receipt of your security deposit one week before your arrival.

Pool Alarm

By Florida Law an alarm is required when access doors to the pool are opened. The back door and the sliding door are both equipped with a Pool Alarm System, in the guest information is explained how to use the pool alarm [ very easy ].

 

Anne

If you have an urgent issue or question, please contact our local housekeeper Anne.
 

Anne is our housekeeper, if you have short term issues in the house, you can always contact Anne.
 

Anne will help you quickly and friendly but please consider her private life as well.
 

Try not to contact Anne very late or very early in the day but during normal hours, off course for emergencies you can contact Anne day and  night.
 

For not so urgent issues or questions, please contact us by email and we reply within 24 to 48 hours.
 

Anne’s contact numbers are send by email after receipt of your security deposit one week before your arrival.

 

Booking

You must be over 21 years of age and authorized by all members of your group accepting our terms and conditions for your booking on their behalf.

Maximum capacity is 10 people [ adults + children ].

 

Due to state fire regulations the maximum capacity of the villa must not be exceeded.

 

Gino's Vacation Home has 5 bedrooms with a maximum of 2 people per bedroom.

 

Cameras

This house is equipped with security cameras.
 

When the house is vacant, the alarm and the cameras are on.
 

As soon as you enter the house and turn off the alarm, the cameras are switched offline.
 

When you leave the house, even if it’s only for 5 minutes, always turn on the alarm, as soon as you turn on the alarm the cameras are also operational.
 

If a burglary takes place during your absence and the alarm [ and the security cameras ] are not switched on you will be held fully responsible for all the damages and stolen goods [ yours and ours ].

 

Cancellation Policy

Canceled bookings will not receive a refund.

 

Cleaning

Full cleaning is carried out before and after your stay. If additional cleans are required, you can arrange this directly with our Housekeeping Service, the extra cleans will be payable locally.

 

Force Majeure

Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible nor accept liability where we are prevented from delivering our contractual obligations by Force Majeure.

These include but are not limited to, war, threat of war, civil commotion or strike, hostilities, strikes and other industrial disputes, natural disasters, fire, acts of God, terrorist activities, weather conditions, government action or other events outside our control.

Your travel insurance may cover you in some of these events.

 

House Rules

Check In after 4:00 pm [ 16.00 ] unless otherwise arranged and agreed upon.

Check Out before 10:00 am [ 10.00 ] unless otherwise arranged and agreed upon.

No BBQ on the pool deck.

 

No pets !

Under no circumstances are pets of any kind permitted.

No smoking !

Smoking is not permitted inside the property.

In the event that this condition is breached, the cost of cleaning and refreshing the property will be deducted from your security deposit.

Show respect and treat this home as your own.

Take out the

Black garbage bin on Monday morning and the

Green/yellow garbage bin on Friday mornings.

Use common sense, use energy wisely.

 

Liability

You are advised that you are occupying a private property and therefore are responsible for your own safety in respect of any loss, personal accidents or damages sustained by you or any members of your party during your stay.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate holiday insurance to cover personal injury / accidents / damage.

No claims whatsoever will be accepted by us or our Property Management Company.

We and our Property Management Company accept no liability for loss of main services or failure of appliances or of any actions taken in the vicinity of the property by any authority or third party persons beyond our control.

 

Office

Givaho is equipped with a professional office with two L-shaped desks with monitors, printer and scanner, ideal for business and work from home people.

 

The use of the office is free of charge.

 

Parking

You have free parking on the driveway.
 

You have free parking on the street.

 

Phone

The house has a landline at your disposal.
 

You can use the house phone for local calls.
 

International calls are blocked.
 

If you wish to call abroad, please use your cellphone or use an international calling card.

 

Payment

All major credit cards are accepted.

 

A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking.

The balance + a $300 security deposit is due one week before your arrival.

If you prefer to pay by bank wire, check or with cryptocurrency, please contact us before booking.

 

Pool And Jacuzzi Heating

Givaho pool and jacuzzi are equipped with a pool heater.

 

With the pool heater on you always enjoy pool temperatures 85°F [ 29°C ].

With the jacuzzi heater on you enjoy jacuzzi temperatures of 105°F [ 40°C ].

 

The jacuzzi has a 60 minute timer inside the living room, when the timer is not set, the jacuzzi has pool temperatures of 85°F [ 29°C ].

 

The pool and jacuzzi both have a pool cover to keep the heat in the water, especially during the night, please cover the pool and jacuzzi immediately after each swim.

 

Heating the pool and jacuzzi have an additional cost of $250.00 for the first week and $150.00 per additional week.

 

Minimum charge is one week as it takes 1 or 2 full days to warm up the pool & jacuzzi.

 

Without pool heater in the winter months you will not be able to enjoy the pool or jacuzzi.

We advise pool heating  for the pool  85°F [ 29°C ] and jacuzzi  105°F [ 40°C ] during the winter months starting October 1 and ending April 30.

 

During the rest of the year the pool and jacuzzi temperature are mostly around 85°F [ 29°C ], however if you want to enjoy jacuzzi temperatures up to 105°F [ 40°C ] you do need pool heating, even in the summer months.

The pool and jacuzzi are equipped with privacy pool curtains, the pool and pool deck are suited for nude swimming and sunbathing.

 

Pool Use

All guests use the pool, jacuzzi and its surrounding areas at their own risk.

Children are required to be supervised at all times when using the pool or on the pool deck area.

We and our Property Management Company will accept no responsibility for any loss or personal injury incurred from using the pool or its surrounding areas.

DO NOT TAKE GLASSES OR BOTTLES ONTO THE POOL DECK OR IN THE POOL AND JACUZZI.

 

Prices And Surcharges

Whilst we make every effort to avoid amending prices, we reserve the right to do so at any time.

 

Security Deposit

One week before your arrival you will be asked to transfer a USD 300 security deposit which will be fully refunded if no damage or broken or lost items are discovered after your departure.

$15.00 per day is included excl. pool heater.

$50.00 per day is included incl. pool heater.

You will be fully refunded within 7 days after departure.

If there is an issue

Pictures will be taken and emailed to you.

An estimate or invoice will be prepared and emailed to you.

After your approval, the issue will be fixed or replaced and paid from your deposit, the balance will be refunded within 30 days after your approval.

 

Sub-Letting

Your booking is made only to those named on the booking form. No further persons are permitted to stay and sub-letting is not allowed.

 

The Fine Print

Pool and Jacuzzi Heating is available for an additional weekly fee.

 

Givaho does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.

 

A damage deposit of USD 300 is required.

 

Givaho charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by PayPal. You will be reimbursed within 7 days after check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full by PayPal, subject to an inspection of the property.

 

The Use Of Amenities

The use of accommodation and amenities ie swimming pool etc. is entirely at your own risk, no responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss or damage to the user or visitors belongings.

 

Travel Insurance

This is not included.

We do not provide any insurance cover and you are strongly advised to take out adequate travel or holiday insurance, to cover for cancellation, accidents, illness or damage.

 

Please ensure you have specific and sufficient holiday insurance to cover all your needs.

It is vital that you have adequate travel insurance for all members of your party to safeguard you from loss should it become necessary to cancel your holiday for an insurable reason.

It is your responsibility to ensure you purchase cover that is sufficient for your needs.

 

Website Accuracy

Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information provided on our website.

 

Wifi

You can enjoy high speed internet throughout the entire house, the network and password are emailed to you along with the access and alarm information after receipt of your security deposit one week before your arrival.
