House

Does the house have a safe ?


The house has 2 hotel safes.




Is there a mailbox for the mail to be received at the house ?


Yes, there is a mailbox in front of the house.




Where do we collect the villa key from ?


The front door has an electronic lock.
No need to worry about finding or losing keys.
All you need to remember is the access code. The access code is send by email after receipt of your security deposit one week before your arrival.




What do we do if we have any problem related to this villa ?


If you have an urgent issue or question, please contact our local housekeeper Anne.
Anne is our housekeeper while we are abroad, if you have short term issues in the house, you can always contact Anne. Anne’s contact numbers are send by email after receipt of your security deposit one week before your arrival. For not so urgent issues or questions, please contact us by email and we reply within 24 to 48 hours.




Is smoking allowed in the house ?


No ! Smoking is not permitted inside the house. For the comfort and safety of all guests, smoking is strictly prohibited within the house which is fitted with smoke detectors linked to the security system. Smoking is also prohibited on the pool deck around the pool. In the event that this condition is breached, the cost of cleaning and refreshing the property will be deducted from your security deposit.




Is there a phone in the house ?


The house has a landline with 5 phones with intercom at your disposal. You can use the house phone for local calls, emergency and some 800 numbers are free of charge. International calls are blocked.
If you wish to call abroad, please use your cellphone or use an international calling card.




Do you have laundry facilities ?


Yes ! There is a fully equipped laundry room for your use. We have a large washing machine and a large dryer plus iron and ironing board at your disposal.




Do you have airco and heater ?


Yes ! Gino's Vacation Home has airco and heater in all the rooms of the villa.




Do you have cable TV ?


We have 8 tv's at your disposal all equipped with a setup box and digital channels. HD ( High Definition ) channels start at 400.




Do you have wifi ?


You can enjoy high speed internet throughout the entire house, the network and password are emailed to you along with the access and alarm information after receipt of your security deposit one week before your arrival.




Are there cleaning supplies ?


Cleaning materials are not supplied for safety reasons. We advise that guests purchase [ or bring ] their own products for using the dish washer and washing machine. There is a washing machine, dryer, mop, broom, dustpan, vacuum, dishwasher, iron and ironing board in the villa. A small initial supply of soap and toilet paper etc. are provided which you will have to top-up as required.




Are linens and towels included ?


Yes! There are fresh clean bedding already made up for your arrival. We also have spare bedding sets. There are hand, bath and pool towels. A small initial supply of soap and toilet paper etc. are provided which you will have to top-up as required




Are pets allowed ?


No pets ! Under no circumstances are pets of any kind permitted.




Are there hair dryers in the bathrooms ?


Yes, indeed!




How do we enter the property?


The front door has an electronic lock.

​Is there a scale in the house ?


Yes! You will find the scale in one of the bathrooms.




Do you have a crib for our 1 year old ?


Yes! We have.




Do you have a BBQ available ?


Yes! We have, free of charge but please clean it out after using it.





Jacuzzi

Are the pool and jacuzzi heated ?


The pool and jacuzzi are equipped with a pool heater. We advise pool heating for the pool 85°F [ 29°C ] and jacuzzi 105°F [ 40°C ] during the winter months starting October 1 and ending April 30. During the rest of the year the pool and jacuzzi temperature are mostly around 85°F [ 29°C ], however if you want to enjoy jacuzzi temperatures up to 105°F [ 40°C ] you do need pool heating, even in the summer months. With the pool heater on you always enjoy pool temperatures of 85°F [ 29°C ]. With the jacuzzi heater on you enjoy jacuzzi temperatures of 105°F [ 40°C ]. The jacuzzi has a 60 minute timer inside the living room, when the timer is not set, the jacuzzi has pool temperatures of 85°F [ 29°C ]. The pool and jacuzzi both have a pool cover to keep the heat in the water, especially during the night, heating the pool and jacuzzi have an additional cost. Without pool heater in the winter months you will not be able to enjoy the pool or jacuzzi.
At the time of your booking you chose for the pool heater to be on or off, if you chose not to heat the pool and during your stay, or before, you change your mind, send an email and contact Gino.
Pool Heater can be used on a weekly schedule or during the full length of your stay. P.S. There is an additional charge for pool heating, if you have requested and paid for pool & Jacuzzi heating, the heater will be turned on 1 or 2 days before your arrival.

General

We are with a group of 38 people ? Can you accommodate all of us ?


We have agreements with our neighbors on the left, the right and the front side. If you book well in advance, we might be able to accomodate your wholle group. Gino's Vacation Home has 5 bedrooms accommodating max. 10 people. Our neighbor at the right has 4 bedrooms accommodating max. 8 people, our neighbor at the left has 4 bedrooms also accommodating max. 8 people and our neighbor in front has 6 bedrooms accommodating max. 12 people. The total of these four vacation homes are 10 + 8 + 8 + 12 = 38 people. Just send us an email and give us a few days to inquire with the neighbors and we get back to you asap.




What time can I check out ?


Check Out Time is 10:00 am [ 10.00 ]. Want to check out later ? This is only possible if you pay for an extra night. The cleaning crew starts at 10:00 am [ 10.00 ] in order to get the house ready for the next check in at 4:00 pm [ 16.00 ]. If you want to check out later and you pay for the extra night, you can check out any moment, the cleaning crew will not show up at 10:00 am [ 10.00 ] but wait for the next day.




What time can I check in ?


Check In Time is 4:00 pm [ 16.00 ]. Want to check in check earlier ? This is only possible if you pay for an extra night. The cleaning crew starts at 10:00 am [ 10.00 ] in order to get the house ready for the next check in at 4:00 pm [ 16.00 ]. If want to check in earlier and you pay for the extra night, you can check in any moment on the next day. The house will be ready for you.

What amenities are provided ? What do I need to bring ?


This executive villa is fully furnished with a fully equipped open kitchen including major appliances, hair dryers, iron and ironing board. Bed linens and towels are also provided. For your arrival, the villa is supplied with bath soap, toilet paper and garbage bags. Additional supplies are the guest’s responsibility.




Is Maid Service included ?


Full cleaning is carried out before and after your stay. If additional cleans are required, you can arrange this directly with our Housekeeping Service, the extra cleans will be payable locally.




How many guests can this villa accomodate ?


10 Guests. Gino's Vacation Home has 5 Suites and 5.5 bathrooms. Each Suite sleeps 2 guests. You and 9 other guests can enjoy this executive villa.




How close is Gino's Vacation Home to ?

Do you provide information in the villa ?


There is no rental property book in Gino's Vacation Home as in other vacation rental homes in Florida. All information is online and available to you as soon as your booking has been confirmed. Go to Guest Information for more info.




Do you charge a security deposit ? And when is it returned ?


One week before your arrival you will be asked to transfer a USD 300 security deposit which will be fully refunded if no damage or broken or lost items are discovered after your departure. Your security deposit will be refunded within 7 days after your departure.




Can you give us advice ? It’s our first time.


Absolutely! We have been visiting Florida for many years. Please feel free to ask at any time.




How can I book ?


Go to Book Now. Fill in your check in date, check out date, select how many adults and how many children are in your group and click on SEARCH. Minimum Stay is 3 nights and maximum capacity is 10 guests. If your dates are still available, you'll see a USD price per night ... Click on the Book Now buttom, fill in your details and click on Pay Now. After you have paid a 50% deposit, your reservation will be automatically booked and confirmed.




How can I pay ?


All major credit cards are accepted. A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. The balance + a $300 security deposit is due one week before your arrival. If you prefer to pay by bank wire, check or with cryptocurrency, please contact us before booking.




Are there restaurants or stores nearby ?


There are hundreds of restaurants and stores nearby. See Driving Directions with the distance and driving time from Gino's Vacation Home.




Can I keep in touch with friends and family back home ?


Yes ! For your convenience Givaho has 5 telephones available for US calls. Givaho also has a free and very fast broadband connection, just bring your laptop and other devices.




How far away are the main attractions ?

​What if we get ill while we are away?


We recommend that you have full travel insurance, including medical cover as treatment in the States can be expensive. If you have cover and you need to use it, call your insurance company first. The insurance company will usually take care of everything, often getting a doctor out to see you or giving you details of the doctor you need to see. For first aid and pharmacies there is a CVS Pharmacy and Walgreens Pharmacy nearby, see Driving Directions for distance and driving time from Gino's Vacation Home.




What cleaning services are provided ?


Full cleaning is carried out before and after your stay. If additional cleans are required, you can arrange this directly with our Housekeeping Service, the extra cleans will be payable locally.




What is a resort fee for ?


Resort fee is a fee for the local property manager ( who takes care of any issues that might occur during your vacation ) and is fixed for short term and long term bookings.





Office

Do you have a fax machine in the office?


No, but we do have a flatbed scanner.




Can I use the professional office ?


Yes! There is no extra charge to use the office. On the second floor is a fully equipped office with 2 large executive L-shaped office desks for 2 laptop computers, hi-speed wifi internet, printer, scanner and LCD TV and a US phone.




Is there a printer in the house which we can use ?


Yes! There is a wireless EPSON printer. You can connect the printer with your laptop through the wifi.




Is there a computer in the house ?


No, you have to bring your own computer, tablet or laptop.
