Shake breakfast # 7
Today is May 18, 18 days ago I started to live healthier and with
1) Drinking a meal replacement shake every morning.
2) Avoid unhealthy food in general.
3) Reduce sweets by 95%.
4) Trying to drink at least 2 liters of water per day.
5) Trying to sleep at least 8 hours a night.
From May 7 until yesterday, May 17 I was a guest with my in-laws on the island of Camotes, one of the more than 7000 islands of the Philippines.
Very beautiful island but because of the dry season right now I had to spend 10 days without running water, a bucket of water per person per day for washing, brushing my teeth and flushing the toilet, now I realize very well the kind of a luxury we live in with constant running water available.
Due to the limited availability of water, I decided to interrupt my diet, I mean I didn't drink a meal replacement shake for 10 days for the simple reason that there was not enough water to wash and rinse my shaker + measuring spoon every day.
After 10 days without a meal replacement shake but following points 2 to 5 very well, I was really curious about my weight this morning.
The good news was that I had not gained weight, the bad news was that I did not lose weight during these 10 days without a shake. I had quietly hoped that I would have lost some weight due to my healthier lifestyle but I was also happy that I had not gained any extra weight.
So, immediately I start back with my daily meal replacement shake for breakfast.
Soy milk + a 28 cc scoop of shake powder in the shaker, shake well and this is the result.
And now taste and drink. My last shake on May 5 was the same, so I knew beforehand how it would taste.
So, that was my meal replacement shake for today, very simple and quickly prepared and delicious to drink and contains all the ingredients of a healthy meal without the extra calories. What else does a person need ?
